Product Designer with an engineering brain. I switched from Industrial Engineering to pursue my passion: making things that work well and look great. I think in smooth systems, map user flows, design interfaces, build working prototypes, and engineer end products with the help of AI — all with an eye for detail, iterating and collaborating until it's right.

Background Story
Background Story

I studied Industrial Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, followed by a Master's in Operations Management & Logistics which I completed in 2022. These fields are all about understanding how systems work: how processes flow, where bottlenecks occur, and how to optimize for both efficiency and human needs. A systematic way of thinking that taught me to zoom out before zooming in, and to keep the core problem in mind throughout.

After graduating, I worked as a Quality Engineer at Malvern Panalytical and later as a consultant at Haskoning, helping clients optimize their supply chain and logistics operations. While I enjoyed the problem-solving, I kept finding myself drawn to the visual side; the presentations, the interfaces, the way information was communicated. That's when I realized my passion lies in making things not just work, but look good doing it.

Design Meets Engineering
Design Meets Engineering

My engineering background shapes how I approach design: mapping the context, identifying the real problem, and designing a solution that truly solves it. It allows me to bridge the gap between design, user flows, and development, speaking the language of each. With a technical foundation and AI as part of my toolkit, I can take a project from concept to working prototype. Systematic thinking, however, alone doesn’t make work great. It requires bold ideas and careful craft. I believe the best results come from collaboration, testing and iteration.

Beyond Work
Beyond Work

I love working with others. Exchanging ideas, giving and receiving feedback, and creating something better together. I believe the best results come from open collaboration, where everyone feels comfortable challenging ideas and building on each other's thinking. I'm always eager to learn, whether that's picking up a new design tool, exploring a different way of thinking, or embracing AI as part of my toolkit. Staying curious keeps my work fresh and helps me find better solutions. When I'm not designing, you'll find me running, traveling, working on side projects, or catching up with friends over coffee.

Focus.

Systematic Thinking.

Iteration.

My logo captures how I work. The circle stands for focus — understanding the problem fully and keeping it central throughout the project. The squared letterforms reflect systematic thinking: structured, precise, intentional. And the squared notation shows iteration, because version two is always better than version one.
